Hello,

My name is Kelley Ann Williams.

I am an independent singer songwriter living outside of Nashville, TN.

Three years ago my husband and I made the move from Ohio and haven't looked back.

Music has always been a passion of mine.

Some of my earliest memories are writing songs and poems, singing around the house & wearing out the newest country CDs on my karaoke machine.

I taught myself guitar in my high school bedroom the summer before I left for college Where my love for music blossomed. I wrote my first songs in my freshman dorm, and lived the next three years with one of my best friends who also sang, wrote, and played guitar.

Some of my biggest musical influences & inspirations include

Chris Stapleton

Brandi Carlile

The Chicks

Maren Morris

Hardy

Miranda Lambert

Kacey Musgraves

Fleetwood Mac

Kelsea Ballerini

and many many more.

I hope to make music that is uniquely mine, and also resembles the artists who inspired me to create in the first place.

"Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelley Ann.

Hi Kelley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

My mom says I was singing before I could talk. And writing as soon as I could hold a pencil. My brothers can attest to the countless hours of singing they had to endure growing up, as well as the many karaoke nights, and American Idol-themed birthday parties. I kept a little notebook of what I thought were poems at the time, but now realize were my first attempts at songs...

"Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

I wear my heart on my sleeve and write that way too...

I write from the deepest parts of myself, and I think that is what I’m known for.

I am most proud of my perseverance. I could have given up a million times by now.

It would be easier that way.

But this is what I am meant to do.

It is in my soul.

So, I will keep creating, singing, & sharing.
